Knights of Columbus Council 9511 Annual Scholarship Essay Contest

Every year, the St. Angela Merici parish school eighth-grade students with a minimum average grade point of B and have been accepted at a Catholic High School have been invited to submit an essay on some chosen topic. The essays are judged anonymously for content, grammar, and style. The two top-scoring essay winners are awarded each $1000.00 scholarships towards the high school of their choice.

This year’s Essay topic was “The Importance of Religious Freedom”

The Winners are: Isaiah Baumgartner and Chloe Marick.

St Angela Merici Knights of Columbus Council 9511 is grateful to be able to offer this opportunity to our parish school students. We thank the parish for supporting our various fundraiser events that help make this kind of recognition possible.
