What a beautiful start to the school year! We are so grateful to Father Daniel for celebrating our Opening Mass and the Blessing of the Backpacks. As our students dive into another wonderful year of learning and spiritual growth, we invite our entire parish family and the local community to come together for a delicious cause. Fellowship is a cornerstone of our Catholic faith, and breaking bread together is the perfect way to build up our community!

Our St. Angela Merici (SAM) 8th-grade class is actively raising funds for their upcoming Class of 2027 trip to Washington, D.C. To help them reach their goal, two of our fantastic local partners—Lamppost Pizza and Blue Scoop Creamery—are hosting a joint fundraiser. Treat yourself, skip the cooking for a night, and raise some dough for our students!

  • When: This Thursday, September 10th
  • Time: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Where: 5091 Richfield Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92886
  • The Details: 25% of total sales (including alcohol) will be donated back to our 8th graders!
  • How to Participate: If you are dining in, simply mention St. Angela Merici and scan the QR code right at your table to enter the promo code Fund. Ordering online? Just use the promo code Fund at checkout!
• Blue Scoop Creamery (Yorba Linda)
  • When: This Thursday, September 10th
  • Time: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Where: 5105 Richfield Rd, Yorba Linda, CA 92886 (Note: Only valid at this specific Yorba Linda location)
  • How to Participate: Treat yourself to some ice cream for a great cause! Simply mention St. Angela Merici when ordering, and Blue Scoop will donate a portion of their sales directly to the D.C. trip.
