In honor of the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi and his profound love for all of God’s creation, our parish community recently came together for a truly heartwarming celebration. St. Angela Merici Parish School’s first-grade class hosted a wonderful Blessing of the Animals, filling our hearts with joy, prayer, and thanksgiving for the gift of the animal kingdom.

The gathering was a beautiful expression of faith, featuring uplifting prayers, meaningful Scripture readings, and special songs led by our enthusiastic students. We extend a very special thank you to Father Tuan, who joined the students to offer a special, individual blessing for every beloved pet and favorite stuffed animal brought to the celebration!
