Catholic education is centered on helping young people discover their God-given gifts, cultivate curious minds, and grow into thoughtful servant leaders. One of the most cherished milestones for our students at St. Angela Merici Parish School is the opportunity to travel together and experience the foundations of American history firsthand.
This April, our 8th-grade Class of 2027 will head to the East Coast for an incredible week of learning, exploration, and unforgettable shared experiences. From walking the grounds where American democracy began to honoring heroes at sacred national monuments, this pilgrimage of learning will enrich their education, deepen their friendships, and broaden their perspective of the world.
Trip Highlights Include:
- Washington, D.C.: Iconic memorials and American democracy
- Gettysburg: History, courage, and remembrance
- Philadelphia: Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell
- New York City: The Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial
