About Our Program
The Children’s Faith Formation Ministry serves children in Grades 1–8, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith through prayer, Scripture, Church teaching, liturgical celebrations, and engaging classroom activities. Our catechists strive to create a welcoming environment where children can encounter Christ, build friendships, and become active members of our parish community.
Sacramental Preparation
First Eucharist Preparation is a two-year program.
- Year 1: Open to children in Grades 1–7 who are beginning their sacramental preparation.
- Year 2: Open to students in Grades 2–8 who have successfully completed their first year of preparation.
- Post- Communion: Open to students in Grades 3-5 who have completed their two years of preparation.
Children over the age of seven who have not been baptized will participate through our Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCIA) program, where they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation. (Additional program information and requirements will be provided to families
