The First Sunday of Advent: A Season of Hope

St. Angela Merici Parish School wishes all our families and parishioners a blessed and hopeful Advent season!

As we light the first candle on the Advent wreath, we are reminded of the profound meaning of this time of waiting. As one of our 8th grade students, Parker, beautifully states:

“Advent is a season of hope because we wait for the fulfillment of God’s promises and the return of Jesus.”

Beacon of Hope: I AM Eucharistic Congress

Our students and their families recently participated joyfully in the Diocesan of Orange’s I AM Eucharistic Congress at Christ Cathedral. This year’s theme was “Beacon of Hope.”

The event was filled with powerful spiritual experiences, including:

  • Featured Masses
  • Eucharistic Adoration
  • Dynamic speakers
  • Warm, prayerful encounters

The goal of the Congress was to provide a powerful encounter with Jesus truly present in the Eucharist.

Student Perspective: “My favorite part was participating in the Eucharistic Procession.”
