Finding Hope Together: Joining the GriefShare Group at St. Angela’s

The journey of grief is rarely a straight line. It is unpredictable, often overwhelming, and can leave you feeling isolated even in a room full of people. If you are navigating the heavy emotions of loss, we want you to know that there is a place where your experience is understood without explanation.

Starting Thursday, January 8, 2026, St. Angela’s will begin hosting a new GriefShare group—a 12-week program designed to offer support, clarity, and fellowship during life’s most difficult transitions.

What is GriefShare?

GriefShare is more than just a support group; it is a safe and welcoming environment centered on understanding the complexities of loss. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will explore:

  • What to expect in the days and months ahead.
  • Navigating the “unpredictability” of grief.
  • Defining what is “normal” as you process your emotions.
  • Practical tools to help you move from mourning to peace.

Why Join a Group?

While everyone grieves differently, there is a unique power in shared experience. Being part of a GriefShare group allows you to gain solid support from others who truly “get it.” It’s a space to be heard, a space to cry, and eventually, a space to find hope again.
