A New Way to Serve: Altar Server Training Begins This March!

Are you looking for a meaningful way for your child to get more involved in the church community? We are thrilled to announce that Altar Server training is returning this spring!

Serving at the altar is a unique privilege that allows our youth to participate directly in the liturgy, assisting the priest and helping our congregation enter more deeply into the Mass. It’s more than just a “job”—it’s a beautiful way to grow in faith, responsibility, and service.

What is Altar Serving?

Altar Serving provides a special opportunity for students from 4th grade through High School to serve at the table of our Lord. By assisting the priest during Mass, servers play a vital role in the flow and reverence of our worship.

Who Can Join?

To ensure our servers are prepared for this sacred duty, there are just a few requirements:

  • Grade Level: Open to all students from 4th grade up to 12th grade.
  • Sacraments: Students must have received the Sacraments of Baptism and 1st Eucharist.
  • Commitment: Servers are typically asked to serve at approximately two Masses per month.

How to Sign Up

Training sessions will officially begin in March. If your student is interested in joining this ministry, we’ve made the signup process quick and easy!

Ready to join? Simply scan the QR code in the flyer above to access the registration form.

We are so excited to welcome a new group of incoming students to the team. Your presence at the altar helps make our celebrations of the Mass even more beautiful!
