As we approach the most sacred time of the liturgical year, IGNITE Youth Ministry invites all youth to step into the heart of the Paschal Mystery. This Holy Week, we aren’t just observing the traditions—we are living them through service, community, and prayer.

Holy Thursday | April 2nd
The Mass of the Lord’s Supper
- Time: Mass begins at 7:00 PM.
- Service Opportunity: Our Confirmation Chrism oil will be delivered at the start of Mass. We are looking for youth to help create a lighted procession path to the hall.
- Arrival: Please arrive by 6:30 PM if you are helping with the procession.
Good Friday | April 3rd
A Journey of Reflection (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
- The City Cross Walk: We will walk together in witness of the Passion.
- Community & Film: Following the walk, join us for dinner and a screening of the movie “The Passion.”
- Note: Permission slips are required for this event. You can find them on our website at stangelamericiym.org.
Easter Sunday | April 4th
He Is Risen!
- Youth Mass: Celebrate the Resurrection at 11:15 AM in the church.
How to Sign Up & Earn Service Credit
We want to see our youth leading the way! To sign up for service on Holy Thursday, please reach out to Mrs. V at 562-217-0496.
Bonus: You will receive credit for a service event if you serve on Holy Thursday and attend the Good Friday events!
