A New Way to Say “Hello”: Our Community Safety Update

In a world that is constantly changing, our top priority remains the safety and well-being of every person who walks through our doors. Whether you are coming in to drop off paperwork, meet with staff, or simply share a moment of community, we want you to feel secure from the moment you arrive.

To that end, the parish office has officially transitioned to a new “buzz-in” access system.

What’s Changing?

For those used to walking straight in, the process will look a little different during your next visit. We’ve moved to a controlled entry model to ensure we know exactly who is on campus at all times.

The new steps are simple:

  • Locate the Button: You’ll find a new intercom button right at the entrance.
  • Press and Wait: Just give it a press to alert our team.
  • Wait for the “Click”: Our receptionist will greet you via the intercom and remotely unlock the door to grant you access.

Security Meets Hospitality

While “controlled access” can sometimes feel a bit formal, our goal is to maintain the same warmth and hospitality we’ve always been known for. This system isn’t about keeping people out—it’s about looking out for everyone inside. By taking this small step, we are creating a more focused and secure environment for our staff, volunteers, and visitors alike.

“Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment.”

Change can take a little getting used to, but your safety is well worth the extra few seconds at the door. We look forward to seeing you (and buzzing you in) very soon!
