Faith in Action: Prayer and Adoration at St. Angela Merici

Community is the heartbeat of any parish, and the latest bulletin from St. Angela Merici (SAM) beautifully illustrates how faith brings us together through prayer, remembrance, and quiet reflection.

Whether you are looking to lift someone up in prayer or find a moment of peace, here is a look at what is happening in our spiritual community this week.

A Community of Intercession: Prayer Requests

In the Prayer Requests (Peticiones de oración) section, we are reminded of the power of collective faith. We continue to hold space for our neighbors and loved ones. This week, we invite you to join us in praying for:

  • Alberto Guteirrez, Ana Lillia Bravo, Geraldine Tringle, Greg Conner, and Diana Cruz Ramirez.
  • We also offer our deepest prayers for the souls of the faithful departed, including Benvenuto Halili, Eugenia Pastoral, Estela Gomez, Salvador Gonzalez, Bryan Reed, Donna Martinson, and Terry Seep.

Note: If you have a prayer request or need a pastoral visit, please reach out to the parish office to add a name to our list.

Finding Peace: Adoration Schedule

In a world that rarely slows down, the Adoration (Adoración) chapel offers a sanctuary of silence and presence.

  • The Prayer Chapel: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those seeking a personal moment with the Blessed Sacrament.
  • In the Church: Special Adoration is held on the 29th of each month.

If you feel called to commit to a specific hour or have questions, please reach out via email at sam.adoration.brea@gmail.com.

Mass Intentions: May 11 – May 17
