Important Update: Limited Mass Schedule for Early June

If you are planning to attend Mass during the first week of June, take note of a temporary change in the regular routine. A recent bulletin notice has outlined a reduced schedule for June 1st through June 5th, and here is a breakdown of what you need to know.

Why the Change?

According to the announcement, the limited availability is due to a Diocesan-wide priests’ retreat (affectionately misspelled as “preist” on the flyer—a gentle reminder that whoever types up the church bulletin is only human!). This retreat means that local clergy will be away for a time of spiritual renewal, requiring the parish to temporarily scale back its daily Mass offerings.

The June 1–5 Adjusted Schedule

If you usually attend an afternoon or evening service, you will need to adjust your plans for the middle of the week. Here is the exact schedule as outlined in the graphic:

  • June 1: 8:00 AM & 6:00 PM
  • June 2: 8:00 AM only
  • June 3: 8:00 AM only
  • June 4: 8:00 AM only
  • June 5: 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Plan Accordingly

As the flyer graciously concludes, “Thank you for your understanding.” While a shifted schedule can be a minor inconvenience, it supports the local priests in getting the rest and reflection they need. Be sure to mark your calendars, spread the word to fellow parishioners, and set those morning alarms if you are aiming for the daily 8:00 AM service!
