Take the Next Step in Your Faith Journey: Discover OCIA & How You Can Help

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming Catholic? Perhaps you are an adult or an older child who hasn’t yet received your First Communion or Confirmation? We invite you to explore OCIA!

What is OCIA? OCIA is designed for adults and older children who wish to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church. It is a beautiful spiritual journey that involves discussions, rituals, dismissals, and “Breaking Open the Word.”

We Need Your Help: Volunteer as a Dismissal Leader Because the OCIA journey has many moving parts, we rely on dedicated volunteers to help support and guide our participants. Currently, we are looking for Dismissal Leaders.

Do you enjoy reflecting on Scripture? Dismissal Leaders play a vital role by facilitating “Breaking Open the Word” for OCIA participants immediately following the homily at the 9:30 AM Mass.

(Please note: Adult volunteers for this role must be practicing Catholics who are fully initiated, having received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).

Get in Touch! Whether you are seeking more information about completing your sacraments or you feel called to volunteer as a Dismissal Leader, we would love to hear from you!
