Dear Parishioners,

We are blessed to announce an upcoming opportunity to respond to the Church’s call to offer prayer and support for foreign missionaries. On the weekend of July 11–12, St. Angela Merici Parish will proudly welcome representatives from the St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society.

Serving God in Asia with Faith & Love

The St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society is dedicated to forming and sending Catholic lay men and women to share the light and love of Christ in Asia. By journeying alongside others, these missionaries serve as active witnesses who offer hope, build community, and challenge each of us to live out our own unique calling in Christ.

Their vital work spans several diverse ministries, including:

• Evangelization: Sharing the Gospel message and helping others encounter Christ in their daily lives.
• Faith Formation: Leading retreats, faith studies, workshops, and prayer groups to deepen spiritual foundations.
• Social Justice: Serving marginalized communities and acting as the hands and feet of Christ.

How You Can Support the Mission

During their visit on July 11–12, we will be taking up a special second collection. This is a wonderful opportunity for our parish family to directly support their important missionary work and help bring Christ’s love to communities around the world.
