As summer comes to a close, we are thrilled to welcome our students back to the classrooms! Please join us in praying for our SAM students and all students in our St. Angela Merici parish community as they return to school this month.

To start the year off with grace and guidance, we invite our entire parish and school community to share in this special prayer for our youth and their educators.

A Back-To-School Prayer

God of wisdom and might,

As our students begin a new school year, we pray that you will keep them in your care. Help them to feel excitement and joy in the promise of this new school year.

Send your Spirit to open their minds to all that is true and beautiful and good.

Help them to see the gifts and talents you have given them and to use them well. Help them to grow in knowledge and wisdom.

Help them to be kind to others and lead others to be kind to them.

Give their teachers patience and understanding.

Open their young hearts to your presence and enfold them in your peace and protection. Hold them in the palm of your hand during this school year and always.
