His life continues to be a powerful beacon of faith, and his beatification offers us a beautiful opportunity to gather as a diocesan family for spiritual renewal and inspiration.
The Diocese of Orange warmly invites our St. Angela Merici community to celebrate this joyous milestone at Christ Cathedral. The evening will feature Solemn Vespers led by Bishop Vann, alongside the profound and rare opportunity to venerate second-class relics of Blessed Archbishop Sheen.
This gathering holds special historical significance for our local church. The event will honor Archbishop Sheen’s unique connection to Christ Cathedral, where he famously preached twice during the Crystal Cathedral era. To commemorate this tie, a special display of archival items and relics will be available for viewing.

- 6:30 PM: Blessing of the Statue
