Observing the Sacred: A Guide to Holy Week

Holy Week is a profound time of reflection, tradition, and community. Whether you are planning your personal pilgrimage or simply looking for a quiet moment of prayer, having a clear schedule is essential for navigating these sacred days.

Based on the recent schedule released by the parish, here is a breakdown of the bilingual services and events occurring from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday.


Palm Sunday / Domingo de Ramos

The week begins with the commemoration of Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem.

  • Saturday Vigil: 5:00 PM
  • Sunday Masses: 7:45 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:45 PM (Spanish), and 5:00 PM.
  • Note: Attendees are asked to exit the campus in silence to maintain the reverence of the day.

The Sacred Triduum

The heart of Holy Week unfolds with three days of intense devotion:

Holy Thursday / Jueves Santo

  • 8:00 AM: Morning Prayer
  • 7:00 PM: Bilingual Mass of the Lord’s Supper. This will be followed by a procession to the Hall for Adoration.

Good Friday / Viernes Santo

  • 8:00 AM: Morning Prayer
  • 12:00 PM: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion
  • 7:00 PM: Celebración de la Pasión del Señor

Holy Saturday / Sábado Santo

  • 8:00 AM: Morning Prayer
  • 7:40 PM: Bilingual Vigil Mass (Note: There are no confessions offered on this day).

Easter Sunday / Domingo de Resurrección

Celebrate the joy of the Resurrection with several morning service options. Please note that there is no 5:00 PM Mass on Easter evening.
